Our individual view of a moment can be hindered by impaired sight. Whether it’s a physical handicap, atmospheric conditions, or our personal observation skills, our view will determine how we visually interpret the world compared to another individual’s insight. This could be considered a hindrance, or a luxury.
I personally have the pleasure of being able to take my glasses off and enjoy the world from a blurred point of view. In that blurred view, I am not distracted by the details of my surroundings and it hinders me from interacting with technology, and so instead I can focus on the beauty of colors and light that I might otherwise miss.
I wanted to capture the beauty that I find in these circumstances and create a sense of isolated tranquility away from the overwhelming details life bombards us with.
